Kasten’s Dog Training strives to maintain the highest standards of health and safety for your dog while they are in our facility. Prior to your dog entering our facility we require verification of the following vaccines:
- Rabies
- all dogs and puppies 4 months and older
- at least 72 hours prior to arrival
- administered every 1 to 3 years
- Distemper
- all dogs and puppies must have received their first round
- at least 72 hours prior to arrival
- administered every 1 to 3 years
- Parvo
- all dogs and puppies must have received their first round
- at least 72 hours prior to arrival
- administered every 1 to 3 years
- Bordetella
- all dogs and puppies
- initial vaccinations or lapsed (expired) vaccinations
- Oral at least 7 days prior to arrival
- Nasal at least 7 days prior to arrival
- Venous at least 7 days prior to arrival
- non-lapsed (not expired) vaccines at least 72 hours prior to arrival
- administered every year
You may email, mail, or drop off your dog’s vaccination records prior to arriving with your dog at Kasten’s training facility. Your veterinarian may be able to email your dog’s records for you to sales@kastensdogtraining.com.
Other Important Information
- It is the owner’s responsibility to provide us with vaccination records prior to their dog’s arrival at our facility.
- All vaccinations must be administered by a licensed veterinarian for dogs and puppies older than 4 months of age.
- Vaccination records must show expiration dates for required vaccines.
- We do not accept titer testing as a substitute for vaccinations.
* If your dog is unable to be vaccinated for one or more of the required vaccines due to anaphylactic shock, an immunity disorder, or other medical reason your veterinarian may issue to us an exemption. Exemption letters must be received directly from your veterinarian’s office via email or mail.
