Puppy training begins the moment you bring your new puppy home. Every year more than 5 million pets are euthanized in the USA, mostly by owners who got off to a bad start with their new pet. These programs seek to teach puppy owners how to influence and shape the behavior of their growing puppy.
Puppy Preschool Class
Puppy preschool includes a consultation for you and your puppy and weekly classes. The classes offer exercises in socialization, confidence building, and handling, as well as solution for common puppy behavior issues. The goal of this course is to guide you and your puppy in critical communication and development of trust that is essential to your relationship. Your puppy will gain a better understanding of what is appropriate behavior around people and other dogs. Puppy Preschool meets weekly.

Training a puppy can be very rewarding yet frustrating. Our Puppy Residency programs can assist with housebreaking issues, crate training, play biting, chewing, and many more puppy behavior issues. We will also teach your puppy social skills, cub unwanted behavior, teach basic commands, and do leash work. We have two programs; Jump Start and Manners Matter. Each of puppy residency program includes a puppy manual, admittance to Puppy Preschool class, and a detailed go home lesson to transfer your puppy’s new skills to you.
- Jump Start – 4 days/3 nights, 1 go home lesson – $500
- All-Star – 8 days/7nights, 1 go home lesson – $900

Q&A: We allow a portion of each class to address your personal concerns.
Puppy Socialization: There is a time for all puppies to be puppies and explore.
Pass The Puppy: Each puppy will be handled by other people of various ages, races, and size.
Object Socialization: You’ll learn how to introduce your puppy to vacuum sweepers, appliances, etc. Proper socialization during this short window of opportunity will guide your puppy’s development while he gains clear understanding of appropriate behavior.
Intro to Basic Commands: Your puppy will be introduced to the basic commands: Leash walking, Sit, Down, & Come.
Topic of the Day: We will discuss topics which prepare you for everyday living with your puppy such as housebreaking, play biting, and puppy care (grooming).
Agility/Confidence Builder: We will look at a small task to aid in your puppy’s development.
